Method


In a pressure cooker ,Use 1/2 cup unsoaked rice with 2 teaspoon of unsalted butter and 2 cups of milk and cook it in high heat for 4 whistles. Open it and mash coarsely.And after it comes to the room temperature add 1/4th cup of yogurt and required salt.


Mix in tadka of urad dal, mustard, green chilli, red chilli, curry leaf , asafotida and China dal


Replace/ Supplement


Can add pomegranate , cucumber, cashews and raisins


Can use millets in place of rice


Tips

Serve after a few hours Can add a little milk if you want it in a semi solid consistency
