In a 2L pressure cooker, layer as below :
Layer1: 4 tsp oil, 1/2 chopped onion, 5 curry leaves, 1/2tsp cumin seeds, 1 deseeded & chopped green chili.
Layer2: 8 small brinjals (cut vertically)
Layer3: 1/4tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp chili powder and 1/2tsp salt.
Cook on high for 2 whistles. Release pressure and mix in 1/4 cup thick coconut milk.
